INTRODUCTION:  This warned hearing was to review zoning application #13-32, from Elizabeth Filskov, to remove and rebuild an attached garage at 30 Village St. in East Wallingford , a portion of Parcel # 0870030.  As this property is within a Special Flood Hazard Flood Hazard Zone (100 year flood plain), a conditional use permit from the DRB is required.

The hearing was advertised in the Rutland Herald, and the abutting neighbors were sent notice by certified mail, with return receipts, per statutory requirements.  The meeting was not electronically recorded.

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m., with the following DRB members present: John West chair, Ann Tiplady, Jill Burkett, and Carol Ann Martin, and Derek Farmer.  E Filskov and M. Gothainer were only interested individuals present, and were sworn in.

Jeff Biasuzzi, zoning administrator, provided a general description of the application, and presented a reply from Josh Carvajal, River Corridor & Flood Plain Management specialist for VT’s Agency of Natural Resources.  Other information provided by applicant was reviewed and approved by all DRB members, to be attached to the final Zoning Permit Approval.

The public hearing was adjourned; there was no deliberative session, and the meeting concluded at 7:27 p.m.
