Fire District #1 received its charter from the Legislature in 1906. There have been six charter amendments since the district was established with the last amendment taking place in 1929. The fire district is a separate entity from the Town of Wallingford. Therefore, all questions regarding invoices and payments related to water and sewer charges should be directed to the fire district office. Fire District #1 does not have a mechanism for online payments.
