Fire District #1 has offered to issue bills quarterly by email. This will save paper and postage, reduce landfill waste and increase security as you will be the only one to see your bill (no need to shred or tear up your invoices for secure recycling). Just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate you would like to join. The Clerk/Treasurer Maureen Duchesne will send out notices to all participants before the due date to remind anybody who may have forgotten the due date, misplaced their printed bill or deleted the original email. All you need to do is email or call the office (802-446-2964) and Maureen will send you another email with your bill attached. Again, this is totally a voluntary service.
