Energy Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at Town Hall at 5:30 p.m.

The Energy Committee’s Mission Statement: The Wallingford Energy Committee’s mission is to identify and encourage energy conservation, best practices of efficient use of energy as well as the employment of sustainable energy in the Town of Wallingford. The committee acts as an advocate for energy related issues as they pertain to residential, commercial and public properties. The committee’s mission includes, but is not limited to:
● Networking with local, state, regional and national entities regarding energy regulations and
plans.
● Establishing contacts with private and public sources of energy related services and funding.
● Identifying innovative ways in which energy is produced using environmentally responsible
and sustainable means. Recognizing that as technologies evolve new opportunities for the
production of energy will emerge.
● Serving as a point of contact for residents, businesses and town officials to obtain
information and advice regarding energy related issues. This includes holding periodic
forums and events that serve to educate the population on energy related issues and
opportunities.
