Bridge 15 Scoping Report

Wallingford, VT – A Public Informational Meeting for Bridge 15 in East Wallingford was held on Tuesday January 20th, 2026 at Wallingford Town Hall located at 75 School Street in Wallingford, VT.  For information sent to the Town on this project, see Scoping Report below. State Highway Bridge Project:

  • WALLINGFORD BF 0133(18) – VT Route 155, Bridge 15 over Mill River

The selected scope is a permanent closure of Bridge 15, with the option of constructing a new pedestrian bridge should the Town of Wallingford wish to maintain a pedestrian connection between Village Street and VT-103.

The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this project to Town Officials, local residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, and overall schedule followed by a question-and-answer period.  Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Wallingford will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the project.
