The following is the Selectboard’s meeting schedule for the fiscal year 2027 budget:
Capital, Town Government and Public Safety on Dec. 1, 2025; Recreation, Highway and Appropriations on Dec. 15, 2025; Administration, Insurance and Revenue on Jan. 5, 2026. All meetings at Town Hall starting at 6:30 p.m.
Non-profit groups should submit funding requests to townadmin@wallingfordvt.com no later than December 1, 2025 by 4:30 p.m. You are welcome to attend the 12/15/25 meeting to discuss your request. The agenda will be posted on the municipal website at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting. Meeting Minutes detailing decisions made at the Dec 15th meeting will be posted on the Selectboard page of the municipal website within 5 days. At times, the Board has accepted funding requests and put the amount into the budget. Other times, they have rejected or modified requests. If you are dissatisfied with the amount, you are welcome to petition an item onto the Town Meeting ballot.
