Over the last week or so, Rutland County Sheriff Dept has handled several burglary complaints targeting businesses and job trailers. The target of choice for this group is copper and power tools. There are persons of interest in these cases and Deputies are actively working the cases to hopefully make arrests in these cases. Please make sure to spread the word within your towns in order to make sure things are locked up. If you have job trailers etc. It might not be a bad idea to get some kind of surveillance on them in the form of trail cameras. I just wanted to make towns aware of the recent cases in order to take proactive measures. We believe the same suspects are responsible for the recent three cases in Proctor and Clarendon. In one of those cases a vehicle was taken and later recovered. Lt.
