In Vermont, when the test result at a public swimming area is 235 E. coli/100mL or less, it means that the water is considered suitable for swimming. A result greater than 235 E. coli/100 mL means that the water is not considered suitable for swimming. The Elfin Lake water sample on June 16, 2021 was 55 E. coli/100 ml, well below the threshold. Happy swimming!
