7/20/2022 Notice of Cooling Center Opening

In response to the National Weather Service and State of Vermont Department of Health, the Town of Wallingford and Gilbert Hart Library are operating a Cooling Center at the following locations:

1. Wallingford Town Hall-2^nd Level
2. Gilbert Hart Library-Lower Level

Wallingford Town Hall (75 School Street, Wallingford, Vt)

• Electrical outlets for charging electronic devices and medical equipment are available
• Bathroom Facilities are available
• Water will be available
• Handicap Access available as marked

Gilbert Hart Library (14 South Main Street, Wallingford, VT)

• Electrical outlets for charging electronic devices and medical equipment are available
• Bathroom Facilities are available
• Water will be available
• Handicap Access available through lower-level entrance

The Cooling Centers will be available from 12:00 until 6:00 p.m. today which is the duration of the Heat Advisory.
