program on Flower Arranging by
Lois
Johnstone
will be
held on Monday, May 19th at the Wallingford
Town
Hall
at
1:30
p.m.
Bring
your own vases, pots, flowers, etc. If
you have any questions about any plants you have or buy at the plant sale, Lois
will be happy to answer them. All
are welcome.
The
next Seniors Trip will be held on Saturday, May 24th to the Paradise
City Arts Festival in Northampton,
Mass.
This
is an exhibition of crafts, paintings and sculptures. There are theatre
performances, a silent auction, and dining tent. Admission
is $8 for Seniors. The bus will
leave the Wallingford House parking lot at
8 a.m.

Many activities and programs are
available for older Wallingford residents, and the Wallingford Seniors group, in
cooperation with the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging, is trying to get the
word out.
Another program intended to keep Seniors active and healthy is the “Bone
Builders” program held at the Gilbert Hart Library
on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 am. More information is available from
June Leach at 446-2102. There is no charge.
Tai Chi is also available at the library from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm on Tuesdays.
The second Tuesday of each month the class will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Contact person for these classes is Doug Reeves at 446-3566. The cost is $60.
for six classes.
People interested in playing Whist gather at the Library every other Friday at
7:30 pm. For more information please call Dawn Morse at 446-2571.
