Present – Ralph, Joyce, Doug, and Tim
June minutes accepted with names of attendee added.
Wallingford
Energy Inventory: Phillip came and picked up all the VECM inventory stuff.
Bert has started converting town buildings energy use data. WES is still
missing, as is the Wall. Fire Dept. (heating portion). Tim will chat with
Bert
about missing WES data. Bert should check with Jay about Fire Dept. Julie
will put Tim on Selectboard (Sept.) agenda to recommend the WES energy audit to
the school board.
Tim has also followed-up with Ken Fredette on downsizing of school buses and
Ken said the Board has run the numbers numerous times and the large busses are
the most efficient.
Energy Plan:
We have Rut. Regional model and Thetford plan as model. WEC can divide this
report into sections and each contribute a section. Tim will e-mail models to
members with links.
Assignments: Joyce – statement of purpose
Ralph – non-renewable resources
Tim – renewable resources
Doug – Energy /land use
Burt, Jay & Ken – Goals, Objectives and recommended Policies
Energy Audits – Two individuals receiving energy assessments followed –up
requesting energy audits. Tim will relay these results to Phillip at RRPC. We
should get $100 for this.
Mobile homes-Energy:
Joyce will produce list of mobile homes in town and contact each owner to get
appropriate energy saving products/materials to them.
Announcements:
WECAN conference coming up in December at The Lake Morey Inn. Tim plans to
attend.
Tim will be working up north in Averill for the next 6 weeks. Ken will chair
in the interim.
