Agenda items from the 3/22 meeting under old business would be: 

Fitness trail grant possibilities – Jill
Mill River student community service requirements – Jill
National Guard aid possibilities – Debbie
Select Board approval of RDC expenses as per master plan – Josh
New member possibilities – All
 
Agenda items from the 4/3 work day/unofficial meeting under old business would be:
 
Invite Tree Warden – Steve Pytlik to help with felling and planting recommendations
Requested select board actions:
                Assign alternates from select board and rec dept. to RDC
                Approve membership of Jill Burkett and Jack Tally in RDC
                Moratorium on all digging and dumping at the pit
                Have Fire Dept. do controlled burn of stumps and slash
                Have Fire Dept. do controlled burn of meadow and picnic area
                Permission to use leftover bridge materials to improve main trail to beach
                Make a ruling on gun and ATV use in the pit
Items to add to master plan:
                Bluebird and Wood Duck boxes
                Bicycle terrain park
                Frisbee golf course
                Sledding hill
                Amphitheater location
                Picnic area pavilion
                Campground     
Decide on a new name for the pit (bring recommendations)
 
My suggestions for new business items would be:
 
Elect a co or vice chairperson, secretary and treasurer
Develop spring/summer work plan
Designate who will contact YCC for summer work plan
Discuss bridge, kiosks, signage and rain garden
Set date for next work day
 
It’s my opinion that the next meeting should be mandatory for all members.
