Wallingford Fire District No. 1

 MINUTES OF THE PRUDENTIAL COMMITTEE MEETING
November 23, 2009

Called to Order:  Scott Sendra called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.   Also present was Charlie Baker, and Maureen Duchesne Clerk/Treasurer.  Dennis came at 6:15 .

Visitors:  Alicia Sharp came with printouts for all board members to look at regarding the corrected amounts for 2008 as well as what the books look like so far for 2009.  She has been working closely with Maureen to make sure all figures are correct for upcoming budget meetings.  

Approval for Minutes:  Scott made a motion and Charlie seconded that the minutes for November 11^th be accepted as presented. With no discussion motion carried. (3/0)  

Dennis and Charlie had to leave the meeting as a fire call came in. The meeting was halted for a short time.  

Approval for the Fire District Pay Order:   Scott made a motion and Charlie seconded that the pay orders be accepted. With no discussion motion carried. (3/0)  

Old Business:   None.  

New Business:  The Fire Protection Agreement was not given to the clerk so it was tabled until our next meeting to go over it.  The board will then either make changes or sign as it is presented.  

The fire district is going to be looking into changing propane service as we have had some issues this year with the deliveries from our current supplier.

Other Business/Announcements:  None   

Executive Session:  None  

Next Meeting: The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Prudential Committee will be December 9, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wallingford Fire Station on Railroad Street.   

Adjournment:  Scott made the motion that the meeting be adjourned.  Charlie seconded the motion.  No further discussion.  Motion carried (3/0).  The meeting adjourned at 7:25 P.M.
