Wallingford Fire District No. 1 MINUTES OF THE PRUDENTIAL
COMMITTEE MEETING Called to Order:
Scott Sendra called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. also present was
Alicia Sharp, Dennis Stocker, and Maureen Duchesne Clerk/Treasurer. Visitors: David
Naaktgeboren came before the board with a proposal to take over the day to day
running of the water/sewer systems. He
went over a few numbers and what he could offer that we cannot give our
employees now. He is a new company
trying to get more business. Approval for
Minutes: Dennis made a motion to approve the minutes as presented and
it was seconded by Scott. With no
further discussion the motion carried (3/0). Approval for the
Fire District Pay Order: Dennis made the motion to approve the pay orders
and Alicia seconded the motion. Motion carried (3/0). Old Business: The
dates for all the budget meetings were set as follows: Lodge is going to be done
tonight, Fire Protection will be tomorrow Dec. 1st at 6:30,
Water/Sewer will be Wednesday, Dec. 7th at 6:00, and General
at our next meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 14th. New Business: The
Lodge financials for this past season were gone over and a look ahead for next
season bookings. At this time a
budget was put together for the FY 13. The chart will appear in the annual
report. The new proposed budget is
only an increase of $1400 over this year and that is due to electric, and
supplies cost going up. Public Comments:
None Other Business/Announcements: None Executive Session: None Next Meeting: The
next regularly scheduled meeting of the Prudential Committee will be December
14, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wallingford Fire Station on Adjournment:
Alicia made the motion that the meeting be adjourned Scott seconded
the motion. No further discussion.
Motion carried (3/0). The
