Walking tour map: Debbie
has the software for Adobe acrobat if Tim wants to use it. Sharon Nimtz has
Adobe Publishing and is also willing to help Tim.
Prior to printing, we will check whether any of the walking trails are on
private land.

Orton Planning Committee:
Shannon
went to the meeting. There was a
discussion of the questionnaires but they have not been compiled yet.
Ralph met the regional planner regarding the map. The next meeting is
April 3rd @
6:00 p.m.

Town Meeting: Debbie
put together a poster that seemed to be well received by the public.

Green Up Day, Saturday, May 3rd
:
Shannon
checked into the cost of sugar maple seedlings (1-2’seedling = $1.25 + $.25
for soil). The group agreed to
purchase 50 seedlings and distribute on a first come first serve basis on Green
Up day.
Shannon
will purchase the seedlings and give the bill to David for reimbursement. Kim
will help
Shannon
pot the seedlings. We will
advertise in advance
Sharon
Nimtz suggested we clean up the area between
railroad street and the bridge. The
railroad owns a little building that they said we could paint.
Ralph will find out who the landowners are and we will work out a
schedule for beautification on Green up day.
