Present:  Bill Brooks, Charlie Angel, Frank Bruce, Joshua Gilman, Joan Crowley, and Julie Sharon  

Visitors:  Charlie Gauthier, Ben Morgan, and Tom Phillips  

Chair B. Brooks called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m.   

Minutes.  F. Bruce made a motion to approve the minutes dated February 15th; motion was seconded by J. Crowley.  Motion carried (5-0).    

Selectboard Orders.  Pay orders were decreased to $4,650.08 and approved on a motion made by F. Bruce, and seconded by C. Angel.  Motion carried (5-0).     

Fireworks Display Permit Request.  Charlie Gauthier received approval for a permit for the Fire Department’s annual fireworks display scheduled for Saturday, July 17th on a motion made by C. Angel and seconded by J. Crowley.  Motion carried (5-0).  

1st Class Liquor License Application.  Approval was given on a motion made by F. Bruce, and seconded by J. Crowley for a new first class liquor license for the White Rocks Inn.  Motion carried (5-0).  

Dog Complaint.  Dog Warden Ben Morgan discussed recent complaints on barking dogs on Lidstone Lane.  Letters have been sent; however, he requested guidance on handling this issue in the future.  Following discussion, the Selectboard agreed that upon the next complaint, a second letter will be sent stating that the third incident will result in a fine per the ordinance.  

Building Use Request.  Approval was granted for use of the upstairs on Friday, March 5th at 6:30 p.m. for a meeting with the parents who are in need of childcare in Wallingford, on a motion made by J. Crowley and seconded by F. Bruce.  Motion carried (5-0).  

Wallingford Fire District #1.  B. Brooks spoke with Attorney Kupferer who plans to research the specifics on what is the next step in the pursuit to take over the entire WFD #1.    

Road Commissioner’s Report.  F. Bruce reported that the Sterling truck needed some maintenance recently.  

Correspondence.  1/25 Conservation Commission minutes; 2/9 Planning Commission minutes; Better Backroads Grant announcement; ANR Watershed Grant announcement; and January fines collected.  

The meeting adjourned at 6:42 p.m.
