minutes of November 8, 2010 were reviewed. D.
Farmer made a motion to accept minutes, E. Crelin 2nd the motion. Passed
by all.
John W. states that any changes
in town plans or regulations must be mailed to abutting towns.
General discussion included:
· Where in the town plan should historical info go?
o Should it be in the town plan?
· J. West suggests getting small maps from the planning commission to include in town plan.
· Statement of objectives has been finished.
· Land use plan – inclusion of a map.
· Discussion of White Rock area – should it be mentioned in the town plan?
· Transportation plan discussed
· First two paragraphs of page 101 “future land use” discussed,
· PC members discussed what to put for each bullet on T.24 section 4328 (Chapter 117 of Municipal & Regional Planning and development act (Amended 2006)
· Discussion of a downtown historic designations;
o Should it be in the plan?
o Benefits?
· Discussion of what maps to include in the plan?
· Discussion of population trends in Wallingford.
· Discussion of accessory dwellings
· Census maps reviewed
