Public Hearing
Proposed Changes to the Zoning Regulations
Members present:,
John West, Robert Soule, Lawrence Miller, Ed Crelin,
Bill Brooks, Ann Tiplady
and Jane Krate Duda.
Others present:
Rob Barker, Fred Thurlow, Bill Lohsen, Charlie Angel, Dennis Smith,
Bill Scranton, Tom Phillips and Amy Loomis, Zoning Administrator.

called the Hearing to order.
Public Comments:
Rob Barker
had concerns about the current Town Plan being inconsistent with the proposed
Zoning Regulations. He felt some of the information in the proposed Zoning
Regulations is outdated. He spoke of an earlier copy of proposed Zoning
Regulations that was turned down, in which he felt offered a more reader
friendly format along with concise guidelines for zoning issues. He was also
concerned with the amount of time and grant money invested in those zoning
regulations.
The Board pointed out the proposed Zoning Regulations he
was speaking of, were turned down. The Board clarified the only purpose of these
proposed zoning regulations is to make grammatical changes and change the wording to represent the recent board change to a Development
Review Board.

January 12, 2009.
