Absent: Hans

Guests: Ira
Frederick, Beth Sheehe, and Kevin & Michele Mulholland for Ira Frederick’s
Application #07-01.
Chair Larry Miller called the meeting to order at
7 p.m.
and read the warning for the Frederick Application #07-01 recessed from the
February 7, 2007
meeting.
1.
Ira Frederick Application #07-01.
Mr. Frederick submitted responses to the conditional use criteria; a
letter dated
February 21, 2007
from the River Management Program addressing the need for anchoring of the
mobile home, elevation levels, the property’s location outside the floodway;
and the Water/Wastewater Permit #WW-1-1548.
Chair Miller stated that the
letter fulfilling the Floodplain Management Ordinance Development Standards A
Floodway Areas stating “Development within the floodway is prohibited unless a
registered professional engineer certifies that the proposed development will
not result in any increase in flood levels during the occurrence of the base
flood.” had not been received.
Chair Miller also noted that the
Water/Wastewater Permit #WW-1-1548 #6 stated Lot A instead of this lot, Lot B,
and therefore a septic system was not approved for this lot.
The Board briefly discussed the
difference between floodway and floodplain/fringe; and that the Wastewater
permit could be a typographical error.
John moved and Brad seconded to recess the hearing to
February 28, 2007
pending receipt of a certification from
a registered professional engineer regarding the floodway, and a corrected
Wastewater permit.
Motion carried 2-1 (Mr. Miller voted no)
