Energy & Building Committee Minutes*

April 5, 2011
The
meeting was called to order at 6:30 by Co-chairman Ken Welch. (In the absence of
Secretary Doug Blodgett, Joyce took the minutes.)
Members
present were Chris Dinnan, Mike Bird, Ralph Nimtz, Joyce Barbieri and Ken Welch.
Ken
welcomed new members Chris and Mike and gave a brief overview of the energy
committee’s goal and past history.
Visitor
Keith Shelvey explained the results of the Rise Engineering audit (see attached)
for the lighting at Town Hall and the
Wallingford
Elementary School
. The board discussed various
scenarios for the town hall lighting, the need to get the school on board, and
we also discussed the status of the town garage estimate proposals.
The
meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
