Present:

Strategic Planning:
Group will plan a summer meeting at someone’s house to brainstorm

Presentations:
Kim will do a bobcat presentation in Wallingford. Carol will talk to Julie about how
best to coordinate presentations with other town organizations.

Town plan:
Kim and Shannon will work on a draft for review by the rest of the
commission.
(4)
Green Up Day:
Meet at the
Wallingford
Rotary
Building
at 8:45. Carol will call Peter
Upton to see if he will put the banner up. Jill
will take a poster to the grange in South Wallingford, Jack to Mill
River, and Carol to the library, school (2), locker, thrift store, hardware store,
etc. Debbie will bring a folding
table and the map. Kim will get an extra bag of garbage bags in case we run out.
Ralph will get balloons on Friday night.

May Newsletter:
Kim developed a newsletter article on invasive plants for the May
newsletter which the rest of the group approved for printing. Ralph will write
the next article which he plans to call “Look who’s hanging out” and
include photos of various clotheslines.
(6)
Election of Officers/new
members: Jack and Jill might be
interested in joining the WCC. Kim
will call Bob Soule also.
All members should please make an effort to attend the May
meeting (May 24th). We
have been lacking a quorum for the last few meetings.
