Public Hearing
Proposed Subdivision Regulations  

Members present: Ed Crelin Acting Chairperson, Ann Tiplady, Derek Farmer and Jane Krate Duda

Others present: Donald Green, Bill Brooks , Amy Loomis, Zoning Administrator

7:20 pm Ed Crelin , Acting Chairperson called the meeting to order.

Ed Crelin discussed the proposed changes to the subdivision regulations. Copies were available at the meeting for the public to review. A public Notice appeared in the Rutland Herald On March 28^th, and it was posted in three places in town and on the Town Website.

A typing error was corrected on the proposed regulation: page 3 section 2.2 d. “ Within 30 days of receipt of complete Sketch Plan, the Zoning Administrator may approve the Sketch Plan, if four (4) lots or less, or may file the 15 day notice to convene the Development Review Board.”

Public concerns included abutters being notified of subdivisions, including those with 4 lots or less. As part of administrative procedure, the abutters will be notified by first class mail.  

Ann Tiplady made a motion to approve the minutes from March 9^th with a correction, Jane Krate Duda 2^nd. Passed.  

New Business:

Ann Tiplady advised the Board concerning a town questionnaire conducted in Starksboro. The Town was looking for input from its residence on topics such as “What do you want your town to look like in 20 years?”

The Town of Wallingford might want to conduct a similar survey.  

Jane Krate Duda made a motion to utilize the Town Website as an additional communication tool to post permits. Derek Farmer 2^nd the motion. Passed.  

Ed Crelin adjourned the meeting at 8:20.
