called the meeting to order.
Planning Commission minutes of
March 8, 2010 were reviewed. It was noted that the section therein:
“The two points of her e-mail
were that FEMA doesn’t have any language in their regulations that
specifically say “non-residential” and that the “commercial” designation
in the town’s existing regulation was simply carried over from an outdated
Flood hazard model” was to be revised to read “The two points of her e-mail

made a motion to approve the minutes from March 12, 2010 as revised, 2nd
by
Ann Tiplady.
Derek Farmer
abstained, All in favor - passed
Existing zoning/building permit
application fees were discussed with specifics to the present $100.00 additional
required for DRB review. Christopher Schmelzenbach, ZA presented that the
advertisement cost associated with such has been approximately $90-$100. It was
decided not to revise the fee schedule at this time.
The Town Plan was discussed.
John West
submitted mapping which depicted development restrictions such as Floodways,
Wetlands etc. for illustration purposes.
Ann Tiplady
discussed the options for low income housing verbiage.
The Town of Wallingford’s interim flood regulations were discussed. It was decided that the interim
regulations be revised to incorporate requested revisions as presented by
Rebecca Pfeiffer, VT DEC.
New business included a brief
discussion on the possible merger of the Fire District and the Town of Wallingford.
Meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
