Wallingford Fire District No. 1

 MINUTES OF THE PRUDENTIAL COMMITTEE MEETING
December 9, 2009

Called to Order:  Scott Sendra called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.  Also present was Charlie Baker, Dennis Stocker, and Maureen Duchesne Clerk/Treasurer.   

Visitors:  None.  

Approval for Minutes:  Scott made a motion and Charlie seconded that the minutes for November 23rd be accepted as presented. With no discussion motion carried. (3/0)  

Approval for the Fire District Pay Order:  Charlie made a motion and Scott seconded that the pay orders be accepted. With no discussion motion carried. (3/0)  

Old Business:  The new agreement with the town was presented to the board with no changes from the last one.  The board read it over and then all signed it.   

New Business:  The lodge rates for 2011 season were set as we will start taking bookings on January 1st for that year.  

Maureen handed out a printout of the water/sewer usage for the last three years to try and come up with a rate that could be used all year long.  The board had some discussion about this even being able to work.  The board would like to see figures using next year’s budget, so this was tabled until the next meeting.

Executive Session:   None  

Next Meeting:  The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Prudential Committee will be December 23, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wallingford Fire Station on Railroad Street.   

Adjournment:  Scott made the motion that the meeting be adjourned.  Charlie seconded the motion.  No further discussion.  Motion carried (3/0).  The meeting adjourned at 8:40 P.M.
