Attendance: Sue Duskiewicz, Keith Shelvey, Tom
Phillips, Chuck Watts, Lisa Marchinkoski
Guests: Rodney Ward
Meeting called to order at
6:35
.
Minutes: Chuck
made a motion to table approval of the minutes pending further review of
financial information. Keith
seconded the motion. Motion passed
unanimously.
Budget: We will
need to budget for fencing by the playground.
Bleachers were paid for last fiscal year.
We don’t know about the raft, which was purchased around the same time
as the bleachers.
Tom indicated that Marie France Eloi would be willing to do
a tennis program for one week over the summer.
We will need to reseal the tennis courts.
It may be worthwhile to have someone give us an estimate of what it would
cost. Sue said she will make this
contact.
An additional question we have is regarding the GE donation
from last year for dugout and
Elfin
Lake
. We are unsure where this is
listed.
Recreation Field: There
is more damage behind the shed.
The dugout needs to be finished.
If the port-o-potty is not already pulled, it can be pulled
anytime.
Sue talked about turning off the electric at the lake.
Keith asked if it would be cheaper to keep it on than to disconnect and
reconnect and pay fees for that. Keith
will follow up on this. Sue
indicated she gets a seasonal rate for six months off, six on.
Both garbage cans at the field need to be emptied.
New Members: no
one has come forward.
Tentative Next meeting date is
November 14, 2007
if Joyce can attend.
Agenda building: budget, new
recreational programs (tennis).
