Wallingford Fire District No. 1 MINUTES OF THE PRUDENTIAL
COMMITTEE MEETING Called to Order: Scott Sendra called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. Also present was Dennis Stocker, Alicia Sharp, and Maureen Duchesne Clerk/Treasurer. Visitors: Hadwin
Young came to ask the board for permission to tap a few trees that are on Fire
District property. Dennis made the motion to allow it and Alicia seconded and
the motion carried. (3/0) The board
also told him he would not have to come back next year to ask unless he was
going to tap more trees. Approval for
Minutes: Dennis made a motion to approve the minutes as
presented and it was seconded by Alicia. With
no discussion the motion carried (3/0). Approval for the
Fire District Pay Order:
Scott made a motion to approve the pay orders and Dennis seconded the
motion. Motion carried (3/0). Old Business:
None New Business:
The first order of business was to elect the board chairman for the year.
Dennis made a motion to elect Scott and it was seconded by Alicia.
Motion carried (2/0). Maureen also stated that Alicia came to the office on
Monday and was sworn in as the new board member. The board also looked over the Policies and Procedures
between the Fire Dept and the district and made no changes at this time.
They will wait to see what the Fire Dept comes up with for changes and it
will be signed after that. Maureen said that Mark had asked about getting TracFones
for both him and Dale to use for Fire District business and make it easier for
the office to get in touch with them when they are out of the building.
After some discussion on different types of phones Scott said that he
will do some research and the board will make a decision at the next meeting. Public Comments:

None Next Meeting: The
next regularly scheduled meeting of the Prudential Committee will be March 10,
2010 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wallingford Fire Station on Adjournment:
Alicia made the motion that the meeting be adjourned.
Dennis seconded the motion. No
further discussion. Motion carried
(3/0). The meeting adjourned at 6:55
